    Cedar Point will open its new Shores Water Park this weekend. Though the Sandusky amusement park is best known for its string of record-breaking roller coasters, the company spent last winter revamping its former Soak City property with new water attractions, more dining options, and better amenities.

    Whitmer outlasted Three Rivers Athletic Conference rival Notre Dame Academy 1-0 in 9 innings to win the BGSU district and advance to the regional tournament. The Panthers will face Springfield in a regional semifinal Wednesday at Clyde High School.
