    Echo, a 22-ton sculpture crafted from 11 steel rings reclaimed from the former steam plant’s smokestacks. Echo will cascade in a horizontal pattern from the top of Promenade down to the lower level of the park.

    Confederate Stockade Cemetery on Johnson's Island, the final resting place of some 267 Confederate soldiers once held at a nearby Union prison, was the only facility built by the Union during the Civil War solely for the purpose of housing war captives. Today, the prison persists both as a cemetery and an archaeology site.
