History meets high technology
There were a few tears and plenty of celebrating Thursday as the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library celebrated the digitization of the diary of longtime Toledoan Elizabeth Frankowski, who as a teenager wrote of her family’s experience in a Soviet labor camp during World War II. The packed-room celebration at West Toledo branch library featured remarks from U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo), Councilman Tom Waniewski, and members of Toledo Poznan Alliance.
