Children from schools throughout the area head into the Valentine Theatre in downtown Toledo yesterday for a sneak peek at its annual holiday show, The Night Before Christmas The Whole Story. The play is artistic director Dale Vivirito s adaptation of the classic Victorian-era story.

Andres Pecina, 5, a kindergartner at Queen of Apostles School, looks around the Valentine before the performance. The Valentine, 400 North Superior St., will present the production today at 7 tonight; 2, 4, and 7 p.m. tomorrow, and 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday. A few of the performances are sold out. Adult tickets are $12 and $16. Children s tickets are $8 and $12. For information, call 419-242-2787.
