Toledo Edison gets new leader

Randall Frame has been promoted to regional president of Toledo Edison in one of several management changes announced Tuesday by the utility's parent company, FirstEnergy Corp. of Akron.

Mr. Frame, a Uniontown native, is director of utility and corporate supply chain sourcing for FirstEnergy. His promotion, as well as others announced Tuesday, will take place following the closing of a proposed merger between FirstEnergy and Allegheny Energy of Greensburg, Penn. The deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of this year.

Trent Smith of Perrysburg, the current regional president of Toledo Edison, was promoted to regional president of the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co., another FirstEnergy subsidiary.

The company also promoted Donald Moul of Maumee to regional president of Ohio Edison, up from vice president of nuclear support for FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Co.

Peter Sena, a Pittsburgh native, has been named president and chief operating officer of FirstEnergy's nuclear division, up from senior vice president of the division's operations.
