Toledo Farmers' Market adding new location

The Toledo Farmers' Market will offer local produce for sale in a new location beginning Wednesday — the parking lot of Lucas County Job and Family Services.

The market will run from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, as well as Aug. 8 and Sept. 12, in the lot at 3210 Monroe St.

The market accepts cash, credit, and food stamp cards. It offers a program to food-stamp consumers called "double-up bucks" that doubles purchasing power, up to $20 per visit, for local produce.
