ACHIEVEMENTS

Sylvania Franciscan Health named Barry Hudgin senior vice president, general counsel, and chief compliance officer. He was formerly senior vice president and general counsel for the Mercy-Northern Division, a member of Catholic Health Partners.

Julie Brotje Higgins has been named president and chief executive officer of Trust Company of Toledo. She is a founder of the firm. F. Michael Bercher was named treasurer. William R. Foster and David White, Jr., were named to the board of directors.

Angela Ash has been promoted to executive vice president of Fruchtman Marketing, a Toledo-based marketing firm that specializes in the fine jewelry industry.

Renhill, a Perrysburg-based staffing service, has been acquired by Barrie Howell, president and founder of HR OnDemand. The two companies merged in 2009 and Ms. Howell has been president of the merged companies since then. Joseph Braden, who founded Renhill Staffing in 1970, will remain with the firm as a consultant.
