Former Lenawee County Library changes name

ADRIAN — The former Lenawee County Library has changed its name to the Lenawee District Library as part of a restructuring effort.

The name change occurred in January. Branch names will stay the same. The library is moving from a county-based system and into a district library system that serves the area within the county not serviced by another library, county officials said.

The county will continue to fund the library until funding is secured from a separate millage, which could go before voters this year.
