Whitehouse butterfly exhibit opens for season
Butterflies bedecked in iridescent blues, spotted greens, and velvety blacks flitted and floated around guests Sunday when the Butterfly House opened for the season. More than 50 species filled the air or nestled into leafy foliage in the humid, greenhouse-like building near Whitehouse. The house, which opened in 2000, resumed seasonal operations Sunday to the delight of those who stopped by.
