The city of Sylvania will begin leaf collection next week.
Residents are asked to place leaf piles on the grass strip next to the curb or pavement edge, not in the street. Crews will make several passes through the city, but the frequency depends on the weather.
Collection is tentatively set to end Dec. 6, hinging on weather.
Leaf piles should contain no sticks or other debris. Sticks, grass clippings, flowers, or plants should be set out separately the first two weeks of November for free and unlimited pickup. For information, call 419-885-8950.
