The Andersons will match donations made today, Friday, and Saturday to the Salvation Army Red Kettles located at Andersons’ stores.
The company will match every dollar put in a kettle with $3, with the company promising to donate up to $150,000 in the match initiative. Money collected and the matched dollars will be used during the Christmas season and throughout next year for community members in need.
Because Thanksgiving fell later than usual, there are fewer days in this year’s collection campaign.
The Salvation Army’s Northwest Ohio Area Services includes Lucas, Ottawa, Wood, Fulton, and Henry counties.
