Officials at Toledo’s Department of Public Utilities are reporting a postcard mailer to customers that implies that there is an update to their water supply that they need to react to is not valid.
The department reported in a news release that it has received several calls from customers concerned about the mailers they had received.
The mailer is not from the city of Toledo, it is not an official notice, and customers who receive this mailer do not have to take action, the release states. The mailer is being sent out by a private company that has no affiliation with the city.
