Sylvania Township will begin its yearly Spring Clean Up April 21.
The service will be a one-time collection of brush and leaves. Residents are asked to create separate piles for leaves and brush. Tree limbs and branches cannot be mixed in with leaf piles.
The piles of yard waste should be placed along the edge of the street curb, not in the street because they can become a traffic hazard.
The green waste should be loose. Officials said plastic bags should not be used to contain the items. The piles of leaves and brush must be clean and free of other items.
It is recommended that residents set out their collection items the weekend before April 21 in order to ensure items are collected.
