The city of Toledo plans to observe Arbor Day on Friday by planting 100 native trees and shrubs at Bayview Park.
Planting is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with help from volunteers from the Point Place Business Association, Visions of Cullen Park, and neighbors.
The Collins administration said the effort is part of the mayor’s “T-Towns” initiative.
