A recycling drive and bulky-waste collection will be held today in a South Toledo park.
The event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Woodsdale Park will primarily serve residents of Toledo’s City Council District 2. Accepted items include televisions, small appliances, cell phones, electronics, computers and accessories, yard waste, old furniture, carpet, and mattresses.
The Department of Code Enforcement, Keep Toledo-Lucas County Beautiful, Recycle-It USA, and councilman Matt Cherry will co-sponsor the pickup. The park is off Woodsdale Avenue near the Anthony Wayne Trail, across from the Toledo Zoo.
