Dr. Sabry F. Gohara, [1941-2014]; Retired surgeon stayed in teaching role at UT
Dr. Sabry F. Gohara, a cardiothoracic surgeon who completed his residency at the former Medical College of Ohio and who still taught at its successor, the University of Toledo medical school, died Friday in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He was 71.

Henry Winkler event rescheduled
Actor/author Henry Winkler has rescheduled his May 14 Authors! Authors! appearance to 7 p.m. June 18 in the Stranahan Theater. Winkler had been slated to speak in Toledo. Popular in the United Kingdom where he was named one of the top 10 Literacy Heroes in December, he'll be filming a new BBC series in London in mid-May.
