Lucas County employees pitch in, help recycle
When Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Dean Mandros saw the county was pushing a sustainability program, he recognized an opportunity to bring recycling to the courthouse. He’s spent 35 years there, first as an assistant prosecutor and then as a judge. Now chairman of the building committee, he said he cannot ever recall recycling as an option in the busy, four-story building, but he’d sure like to see it.
