Region reviews damage as water starts to recede
The Portage River raged in the distance, its water spilling over the banks and leaving Trail Marker Park submerged. But Lynn Bunn of Woodville held out hope on Monday that the town’s Fourth of July festival wouldn’t be completely flooded out. “Two hours ago,” she said, standing on the only dry portion of the park, “we couldn’t stand where we are now.”
