The Humane Society of the United States is offering free training for animal shelter and rescue professionals on Tuesday at Owens Community College.
The seminar is one of several being offered around the state this week by the organization’s Humane State program. The training covers topics like fund-raising, animal care, cleaning, customer service, and the HSUS Emergency Placement Partners Program. Continuing education credits are available.
The training is to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Veterans Hall at Owens Community College in Perrysburg. Registration is required, and can be completed online at animalsheltering.org/humane-state-ohio.
