University of Toledo may sell alcohol at sporting venues
The Glass Bowl could soon be filled with suds. In a revelation met Tuesday with overwhelming approval, University of Toledo officials said they soon will decide whether to sell alcohol in the main seating areas at home football games. A decision to join a growing number of schools that dangle booze to boost attendance and revenue sales could come within the next two weeks, according to Toledo athletic director Mike O’Brien.
