One is a cash grab, which involves traveling to a Big Ten or SEC school and getting a handsome check after absorbing a loss. The other is a cupcake grab, where involves hosting a FCS or Division II squad and fattening up with an easy win.
MICHIGAN WOLVERINES Before this week, or maybe even before reading this, you probably weren’t familiar with Joe Reynolds. Or if you were, it wasn’t necessarily because of football. It might have been because you were a fan of high school track in Michigan. Or it was because of a music video he made with teammate Jack Kennedy that went viral and became a part of Michigan’s pregame warmups in 2012.
OHIO STATE BUCKEYES Does Ohio State have too many captains and not enough Indians? This week's surprise announcement that the Buckeyes had named an unprecedented eight captains means one in nine active scholarship players will represent the team in Saturday's opener against Buffalo.
