Scene: Ice Restaurant and Bar

Address: 405 Madison Ave.

What makes your place unique? Ice is unique from the minute you walk in the door. It's as if you've left Toledo for the evening and stepped into a big city dining experience. We've always wanted a place where we could go for a quality meal with great service and be able to listen to great music while still being able to hear one another talk. Our prices are reasonable without compromising quality or service. We are a family-owned business and take pride in everything that we do.

Origin of the name: We are located next to Huntington Center and we wanted to connect with the hockey team but in a classier way.

Clientele: This is a place where you can get dressed up before a Valentine Theatre production and come for dinner, or be dressed for the Walleye game and still feel welcome.

What type of entertainment do you feature? We have jazz artists from all over the region playing on Thursday nights from 6 to 10 p.m. Also on the weekends we have different acoustic artists playing from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Upcoming events: This weekend and on Valentine's Day we have a great dinner menu for two. Nelson Rangell is playing on Feb.23.
