Reports of UM firing Rodriguez inaccurate says source

ANN ARBOR --- Earlier reports of Rich Rodriguez being dismissed as Michigan's football coach are inaccurate, multiple sources tell The Blade.

Rodriguez met with university athletic director Dave Brandon for several hours Tuesday afternoon but no resolution came from it.

The source did not know when Brandon plans to make a decision on Rodriguez's future.

Earlier Tuesday Fox Detroit and the Detroit Free Press reported Rodriguez had been fired.
