Brad Walters, a senior from Blissfield, plans to attend the University of Michigan College of Engineering. He has a 4.0 grade-point average and enjoys advanced placement physics, calculus, and painting.

Brad was first-team all-league and all-county honorable mention in golf, and has been recognized as a scholar-athlete. He enjoys golfing, basketball, wakeboarding, and hunting. He volunteers as a middle-school youth group counselor through Element Church.

"Brad is a quiet leader," said Jerry Johnson, principal. "He sets a good example for others and is always willing to help. He volunteers often to help his peers with their studies."

Brad is the son of Deanna and David Walters.
