First Congregational Church of Toledo will celebrate the restoration of its Skinner-Moeller Organ with a recital at 3 p.m. tomorrow by Shin-Ae Chun, the church s music director.

The restoration began in March, 2008, under the direction of Helmut Schick of Ann Arbor. The process included cleaning and repair of the organ chambers and pipes, and the installation of two sets of 1920s-era replacement pipes that were acquired from John Cawkins, who was working on the project.

The recital will include music by Bach, Buxtehude, Buck, Franck, and Liszt, with a reception hosted by the Women s Fellowship to follow.

First Congregational is at 2315 Collingwood Blvd. Admission is free.
