CLEVELAND — Police say two people have been killed after a man drove the wrong way on a Cleveland interstate and struck another vehicle head on.
The accident occurred on I-71 around 2:30 a.m. west of downtown Cleveland. Police say a 22-year-old man identified as Kenneth Urbanek of Lakewood entered the southbound lanes of I-71 and collided with an SUV driven by 33-year-old Lakesha Brown of Cleveland.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. A Cleveland police spokeswoman says investigators are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
