They say that practice makes perfect and in Alter Echo players certainly get plenty of chances to practice their fighting skills. Problem is, the game just isn't difficult enough to warrant the extreme repetition and it wears thin quickly.

The main selling points of the game are the players ability to change “forms” during battle to maximize offensive attacks and the ability to stop time and plan your moves before waging war on the baddies. Some good concepts that just don't translate into an overly exciting game.
