Game review: Capcom Classics: Collection Vol. 1 **** 1/2

Game review: Capcom Classics: Collection Vol. 1 **** 1/2

Ok, I'll 'fess up. This title got an extra star because I got to play Commando and 1942 again. And both for a mere $20! Capcom Classics contains 22 old school hits including Final Fight, Ghosts 'N Goblins, and Street Fighter II.

At less than a buck per game, Capcom Classics is a no-brainer for anyone who ever lined up quarters in the arcade. The good news is the console transfer was seamless - I even played using some of my old, trusted patterns. The bad news is the games look exactly like the originals, which isn't saying much by today's standards.
