Sylvania’s Element 112 restaurant said it plans to expand its bakery operation, and scale back its restaurant, turning it into a small cafe.
The well-known eatery noted it had first begun operating as a wholesale bakery alongside its restaurant last year. It said its last day as a full-scale restaurant will be Aug. 5. Until then it will only be open for dinner service from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
On Aug. 9, the location at 5735 Main St. will reopen as Madeline’s Patisserie with a “small cafe menu.”
“We are extremely proud of our accomplishments while operating a restaurant over the last 10+ years and we have all of you to thank for our success. We are incredibly grateful to our team for their utmost passion, talent, and professionalism, and to our guests for your unwavering support,” the restaurant posted on Facebook.
