Way Public Library to hold technology 'petting zoo'

Way Public Library will hold a technology "petting zoo" Tuesday at 6 p.m. There will be iPad 1 and 3, Kindle Fire, Nook Color, Asus Transformer Pad, Sony Reader, and other devices available for use. Technicians will help residents with questions with the gadgets and show how convenient and entertaining the different items can be.

At 10 a.m. Thursday, the library will screen the musical film Too Many Girls. The successful Broadway adaptation was released in 1940 and stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Ball plays a fast-living spoiled child whose wealthy father banishes to Mexico, but secretly hires four bodyguards to keep an eye on her. Admission and refreshments are free.

A Dec. 5 holiday wreath "make-and-take" workshop at Way has a Nov. 21 registration deadline. The event has a class limit of 20 people and a $13 registration fee.
