Calendar

The Festival of Nations, a celebration of different cultural expressions of the ancient Christian Church, will be held from noon to 11 p.m. tomorrow and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Elias Orthodox Christian Church, 4940 Harroun Rd., Sylvania. An international village, ethnic foods, music and dancing, sacred art (iconography), folk art, and children's activities are planned. Vocalist Keith Hoyt will perform at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the big tent.

CitiFest's Rally by the River is scheduled from 5 to 9 tonight in Promenade Park along the downtown riverfront. Cleveland-based band Wish You Were Here, The Sights and Sounds of Pink Floyd will take the stage.

The Moody Blues will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Toledo Zoo amphitheater. Turning 40 this year, the band has such hits as "Your Wildest Dreams" and "Nights in White Satin."

The Martin School Rose Garden and Native Orchid Sanctuary is hosting its Celebration of Roses from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the garden, 10 Holland-Sylvania Rd. A tour of the formal 17th-century style garden begins at 2:30 p.m. Throughout the afternoon, musicians will perform on the harp, drum, and flute. Sculptor Mike Sohikian will display his works in the garden, while the Strolling Strings young violinist perform. Guests can also watch the Monday Morning Painters create beautiful works of art on canvas. Rare and unusual plants will also be for sale.

The second annual Bike Show to Benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northwest Ohio will be held tomorrow at the Home Depot parking lot, 1169 South Main St., Bowling Green. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with judging at 1 p.m. Classes are for custom, chopper, sportster, dresser, cruiser, vintage, and People's Choice. Josh Boyd will provide the entertainment. An auction is scheduled at 2 p.m.

The third annual Antique Farm Show sponsored by the Power of Yesteryear will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday at the Wood County Historical Society, 13660 County Home Rd., Bowling Green. Both days are filled with displays of antique tractors, farm implements, gas engines, farm toys, a kiddie tractor pull, a parade, and an equipment auction. At 11 a.m. Sunday, the society kicks off its pork and chicken barbecue.

The Sylvania Area Dream Cruise at Mayberry USA is scheduled from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Monday on Centennial Road between Erie Street and Brint Road. Spectators can view the classic, custom, collector, and muscle cars on either side of Centennial Road. Lawn chairs and blankets are suggested to view the cruise. Parking is available in the large lot used at the Jamie Farr golf tournament at the northeast corner of Brint and Centennial roads and in the Centennial Terrace parking lot. Rain date is Tuesday.

The Shelby American Automobile Club Motor City Region presents the SAAC-MCR 29th annual All Ford Vehicle Show & Go from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ford Motor Co. World Headquarters, Henry Ford II World Center in Dearborn, Mich. A swap meet begins at 7 a.m.

The club is also sponsoring its annual Driver's School & Track Event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Waterford Hills Road Race Course in Waterford Hills, Mich. Town and Country Festival: downtown Morenci, Mich.; today-Sunday. The annual festival includes a cheerleading competition, marching band expo, classic car show, and home and town family fun.

Peony Festival: Van Wert; tomorrow-Sunday. Festival features dances, craft shows, landscaping tours, and the peony parade at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
