The Life Long Learning Series presents Exploring the Classics at Stratford Festival at 6 p.m. tomorrow in the Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St. Pat Quigley, education director and 20-year Stratford Festival veteran, lectures on the classics that will be performed during the upcoming season. The Valentine is the only theater in Ohio to partner with the Stratford Festival.

The Toledo Symphony s Organ and Orchestra Spectacular takes place at 8 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle. The renovated Skinner Organ takes center stage as Todd Wilson performs Jongen s Sinfonie Concertante. Conductor Chelsea Tipton II then unites the organ and orchestra in combined music.

The Village People will be in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Ritz Theatre, 30 South Washington St., Tiffin. After almost 30 years and with most of the original members, the dance band has sold more than 65 million LP s and are best remembered for songs, "YMCA," "Macho Man," and "In the Navy."

Blues guitarist Ronnie Baker Brooks will be in concert tomorrow in the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grille, 5625 Benore Rd. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. with local band Rod s Collision opening. Brooks has been nominated for the 2007 Blues Music Award s Contemporary Blues-Male Artist of the Year.

Pianist and Grammy winner George Winston will perform at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the River Raisin Centre for the Arts in Monroe. He has seven gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records to his credit, and boasts a melodic folk and New Orleans R&B piano style.

The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo will host its annual Meet & Greet 5 from 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow at the Secor Gallery, 425 Jefferson Ave. The event is an opportunity for artists and others to network. It will be the first opportunity for the public to visit the newly renovated Secor Gallery. Tours of the artists studios will also be offered. A bus loop will run from the gallery to the University of Toledo s Center for Visual Arts, Space 237, Parkwood Gallery, Diva s Society Gallery, Paula Brown Gallery, the Collingwood Arts Center, 20 North Gallery, and the adjacent gallery at 18 North St. Clair St.

The fifth annual Sal s Pal Charity Event will be held from 6 to midnight Saturday in St. Francis de Sales High School. A benefit for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the event includes an Italian dinner, entertainment, and live and silent auctions.

The 6th Annual American Diabetes Association s Celebrity Art Auction Gala is scheduled Saturday at the Hilton Toledo, 3100 Glendale Ave. The evening begins with cocktails, entertainment, and a silent auction at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 8 p.m. Celebrity artists include U.S. Rep. Heaven Can Wait, a comedy-fantasy by Harry Segall, will be staged at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow and 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Grand Rapids Town Hall Theatre. Proceeds will benefit the Otsego Food Pantry. The script was made into an Oscar winning movie in the 1930s called Meeting Mr. Jordan. A freewill offering will be accepted as people leave the theater.
