Sign of change

The Farmer Jack name comes down from the closed grocery store at 1707 Cherry St. at Bancroft Street, one of the three Farmer Jacks in the city of Toledo that are becoming Foood & Drug basics stores. The no-frills grocery chain is owned by the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., as is Farmer Jack. The three stores are expected to reopen in six to eight weeks.
