Two local business organizations have singled out in the past week 22 area business owners for special recognition or awards.
The Northwest Ohio Chapter of SCORE, a retired executives business mentoring group, Tuesday recognized 16 successful small-business clients in the region at an event to celebrate the local chapter's 45th anniversary.

Meanwhile, the Entrepreneurial & Business Excellence Hall of Fame recently announced its 2010 award winners, who will be inducted into the hall at a ceremony scheduled for Nov. 4.
