An Allen County food manufacturer has been fined $30,600 for safety violations stemming from July and August inspections at its manufacturing site in Delphos.

Lakeview Farms LLC was cited for seven serious violations by inspectors from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration as a result of the inspections.

The violations included employees not being given proper safety training for dealing with workplace injuries and the company neglecting to install safety guards on certain equipment. The company can contest the citations and the fines.
