The Way Public Library will host an event with Jim Kleefeld at 7 p.m. today during which he will present a collection of stories and legends of nonfiction ghostly investigations and haunted experiences.
Mr. Kleefeld will discuss the haunted histories of Ohio landmarks such as the Mansfield Reformatory, Franklin Castle, and Concord Cemetery. The program is free and open to the public, but it is for adults only. Mr. Kleefeld majored in theater, and also has a long career in education.
On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the library will host a book discussion on The Soloist. The book is about Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez and musician Nathaniel Ayers. The book discusses homelessness, mental illness, and responsibility. Copies are available for checkout at the library. The event is free and open to the public.
Candidates in Q & A session at high school
Perrysburg High School is hosting a meet the candidates event today for five candidates running for the Perrysburg Board of Education.
Jarman Davis, Valerie Hovland, Ed Palmatier, Ray Pohlman, and Susan Rowland Miller are the candidates who will take part in a formal question and answer session.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the question and answer event starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Perrysburg High School Media Center. To submit questions, go to perrysburgschoolsfoundation.org.
