Air Force Col. Kevin Doyle formally will assume command of the Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing during a ceremony at 10 a.m. Sunday at the unit’s base at Toledo Express Airport.
Colonel Doyle succeeds Col. Craig Baker, who has been the 180th’s commander since March, 2014, and has been transferred to a post at Air Force Headquarters at the Pentagon.
Like Colonel Baker, Colonel Doyle is a career Air Force officer, serving 32 years in the military. He comes to Toledo after being chief of safety with the Indiana Air National Guard’s 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne.
