Test flights by fighter jets of the 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard were planned for today, guard officials announced.
Those living in the Toledo and Sandusky areas may have seen or heard fighter jets near a Civil Air Patrol aircraft during the exercises, which were scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
These flights have been conducted through the North American Aerospace Defense Command since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
