The Toledo Zoo’s Lights Before Christmas was voted the best zoo light display in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice contest.

The zoo competed against 20 other zoos across the nation, and placed second in 2015 after the Detroit Zoo’s Wild Lights. As announced Friday, Toledo and Detroit swapped places this year with Wild Lights in second place.

Lights Before Christmas, presented by KeyBank, runs nightly through New Year’s Eve from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The zoo closes one hour after last admission, and the display will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
