Runners participate in Jingle Bell Run at Fallen Timbers

The Jingle Bell Run took place Saturday at the Shops at Fallen Timbers in Maumee.

The 5-K race, a fund-raiser for the Arthritis Foundation, is held in conjunction with events in cities around the country and features many runners and walkers in holiday themed costumes.

This year’s Toledo-area event raised nearly $30,000 for arthritis research, ranking it 79th in fund-raising for Jingle Bell Runs around the nation.
