For the sixth year, Toledo’s Huntington Center has been named the nation’s top Midwest venue by the publication Venues Today for facilities with 5,000-10,000 seat capacity.
The Huntington Center’s total gross sales for 2016 exceeded $8 million, more than three times as much as the second-place venue in Minnesota.
Venues Today, a concert industry magazine, ranked venues for all concerts and events that occurred between Feb. 1, 2016 and Jan. 31, 2017. States included in the ranking are Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Ranking are based on the highest gross in ticket sales.
