It's not too late to participate in Toledo library's Summer Read program

There’s time remaining to join the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Summer Read program.

“You can still join our more than 19,000 participants if you have been reading and forgot to sign up, or submit your completion form if you have read for 30 days,” library officials said.

Open to kids, teens, and adults, the Summer Read deadline is Aug. 2. The program’s goal was for people to read for 30 days

There are prizes for signing up and for completing the challenge. Kids and teens can also earn a mid-way prize.

“Upon completion, you are automatically entered into the grand prize drawings for Nintendo Switch Lites, Kindles, gift cards, and more,” according to the library’s signup reminder.

Find details at any branch location or at toledolibrary.org.
