The University of Toledo is seeking community input on what they want to see in the school’s next provost and executive vice president for academic affairs.
A committee has been formed and will host a series of town hall-style meetings with faculty, staff, and students starting next week to discuss the job description and qualifications needed for the position, according to a UT news release. The position plays a key role in advancing student success, academic excellence, and research innovation.
Meetings will be held:
• 9 a.m. Aug. 22, in Collier Building Room 2409 on Health Science Campus.
• 4 p.m. Aug. 23, in Stranahan Hall Room 0131 on Main Campus.
• 9 a.m. Aug. 28 in Stranahan Hall Room 0131.
• 1 p.m. Aug. 31 in Collier Building Room 2409.
The committee’s goal is to have a final position description ready to advertise the provost position in September and conduct the first round of candidate interviews later in the fall.
