Lourdes lecture series speakers address divorce, microplastics, wrongfully convicted

Lourdes University in Sylvania is offering free and open to the public lectures on a variety of topics as part of its Lifelong Learning and Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment lecture series.

Upcoming programming includes:

Microplastics: Here, There, Everywhere will be presented by Anne McNeil, a University of Michigan chemistry professor on Nov. 12, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Till Divorce Do Us Part: Tracing the Changes of the Last Half Century will be presented by attorney Jude Aubry on Nov. 15, from 10 to 11 a.m.

The outside of Hip to the Groove in Sylvania on Nov. 6.

Sylvania's Passport Program hopes to bring people downtown for holiday shopping

Investigating Innocence on the wrongfully convicted in Lucas County will be presented by Kristin Blochowski Dec. 20, 10 to 11 a.m. Ms. Blochowski is a former FBI agent and defense attorney who is now an assistant professor of criminal and social justice at Lourdes.
