Ceramics show to open at CVA

The University of Toledo Center for the Visual Arts Gallery, 620 Grove Place, adjacent to the Toledo Museum of Art, presents the Ohio Undergraduate Ceramics Exhibition Jan. 8 through Feb. 2. A artist's reception will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 12. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Information: 419-530-8300.


The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club at 7 p.m. Jan. 9 in the Tiffin Glass Museum, 25 South Washington St., Tiffin. The focus of the program is "Members Choice," with an additional slide presentation featuring satin glass. Museum hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Information: 419-448-0200.


Firenation Glass Studio, 7166 Front St., Holland, will close for winter vacation from Saturday through Jan. 31. When it reopens, the art glass of Matt Paskiet and Eamon King will be on display. Information: 419-866-6288.


Spectrum Gallery Friends of Fine Art in the Toledo Botanical Garden, 5403 Elmer Dr., will host its 2007 Winter Show Jan. 10 through Feb. 3. Entry take-ins will be Jan. 3-6, with all entries being acceptable and not limited to a winter theme. Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday. Information: 419-531-7769.


Entries for the annual All-Ohio Juried Art Exhibition 2007 are being accepted by the Pearl Conard Gallery at The Ohio State University at Mansfield, 1760 University Dr., Mansfield. Eligible entrants must reside in the state of Ohio, with the works being completed within the last year and not previously exhibited at the Conard gallery. All media except large installations are eligible.

Labeled slides or CDs with the artist's name and the work's title, size, medium, entry identifiers and completed entry cards must be submitted by Feb. 23. The fee is $7 per entry. The exhibition is to run March 25-April 13. Information: 419-755-4255.
