Both of Toledo Jeep Assembly Plant's latest products - the Dodge Nitro and redesigned Jeep Wrangler - will be pitted against each other and 13 other contenders for the 2007 North American Truck of the Year award in January.
Automotive writers nationwide vote on the award, which will be given during media previews for the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.
Other contenders include the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Silverado, Ford Edge, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Santa Fe, Saturn Vue Green Line, and Toyota FJ Cruiser. Eleven cars are competing for Car of the Year, including the Dodge Caliber, Saturn Aura, and Toyota Camry.
