Chrysler appoints 2 to board of directors

BLADE STAFF AND NEWS SERVICES

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Chrysler Group LLC reported Thursday that two new directors have been appointed to its board.

One is Brown University President Ruth Simmons, who plans to step down from the college position June 30. The other is Erickson Perkins, director of the United Auto Workers' Strategic Research Department.
