Volkswagen: Takeover of Porsche to wrap up

BERLIN -- The German carmaker Volkswagensays it is on track to finalize a full takeover of the sports car manufacturer Porsche this month.

Volkswagen AG said Wednesday Porsche AG will become a fully integrated brand of the Volkswagen group on Aug. 1. Europe's biggest carmaker owns brands such as Audi, Seat, Bugatti, Bentley, and the truck makers MAN and Scania.
