Editor's note: Chrysler stopped taking applications as of 8:50 a.m. Tuesday.
At the Toledo Assembly complex, Chrysler is accepting applications for new jobs.
Chrysler Group LLC is looking for more people who are interested in working at the Toledo Assembly Complex.
A company spokesman said today that the automaker will be collecting online applications starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday through the ChryslerCareers.com Web site. Applications will not be taken at the plant or over the phone. The only way to apply is through the Web site.
Chrysler is still moving toward filling 1,105 new jobs at the plant as it prepares to launch the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and a second shift. The company last took applications for those jobs in August, but has not yet completed its hiring.
The company isn't saying how many slots are left, or how many applications it will accept.
The Web hiring window will close once Chrysler receives the number of applications it wants. Those who wish to apply are encouraged to do so quickly.
