Bowling Green ties Wayne State in OT, 4-4

BOWLING GREEN - Bowling Green State University goalie Tyler Masters made 29 saves, including two in overtime, last night as the Falcons skated to a 4-4 non-league tie with Wayne State.

Roger Leonard, Denis White, Ryan Minnabarriet and Scott Hewson scored Bowling Green goals.

Hewson's goal put the Falcons ahead 4-3 just 2:17 into the third period, but Wayne State's Jason Durbin tallied at 18:15 to tie it.

David Gurrera made 30 saves for the Warriors, including three in the overtime.

BG is 2-6-3 and Wayne State 3-5-1.

The two teams play again tonight at Wayne State.
